Toddler Activity Corner

Hey mama! If you’re looking for a cute idea on how to keep your toddler a little busy for a little longer, this is something for you. Joey is now over 19 months and I thought it was a good time to put together a little activity table for him so he can scribble or just play with his toys and he LOVES it! Most of these items are new purchases but some I repurposed from when he was little (like the table – its just the skip hop activity center bouncer assembled as the table) – which I really encourage you to do. A lot of toys/activity items are pricey, so I think it’s never a bad idea to purchase things that can be used in different ways. Let’s get into it!

First up the bouncer I was talking about. If you don’t have this don’t worry, I found a really cute table and chair set on Etsy linked below. Joey did however love this bouncer a baby so if you’re an expecting mama this is a good buy all around.

This is the chair and table set from Etsy. I have talked about this set before but there are different configurations you can purchases. My mom actually just got us the chairs but you can purchase both if you’d like. This set is are pretty neat because it’s kind of like a white board material so they can draw on them!

This is a basket that I originally purchased for Joey’s nursery when he was little. I decided to now use this to put all his favorite toys in so they are really easy for him to grab.

These are the crayons I got Joey. They are made of beeswax, so even if your little one eats a little it’s nontoxic. They come in different sizes too, depending on their finger grasp development. These are the exact ones I got.

This is just plain paper but the size will covers the whole table so your little one can use the whole table to color.

Basically same thing but I found this at Walmart and its a packet of big coloring pages. I thought this was a fun idea to get a toddler engaged since it already has a picture on it. They may be more interested in coloring, so far Joey likes it.

Lastly, if you’re in need of a cute little rug to put in a corner to just make it really cozy, I thought this one would be fun and it’s a good size.

That is all, I hope this gave you some inspiration and that it was helpful! As always, thank you so much for reading and I will chat with you guys next time!

-With love, Kasia
