Bottle Feeding Must-Haves

Hey guys! I posted on my instagram yesterday a Day in the Life with Joey and many of you saw that he is an exclusively bottle fed baby. (If you missed it, I saved it all to a highlight!!) As a new mom I spent a lot of time looking into the best bottles, warmers, etc… I thought I would put together a few of our favorite bottle feeding essentials that we use daily. These make everything super easy!

1. The Dr. Brown tall glass bottles

These bottles are awesome for acid reflux or if your baby is a little more gassy. We used to use Avent bottles but once Joey started on these, we noticed a huge difference starting with the first feeding. They come in glass or plastic. Glass was just our personal preference. We also chose the narrow ones instead of the wider neck because Joey takes a pacifier and we thought the latch would be more similar (if that helps anyone).

2. Boon Lawn drying rack

We have used a different one in the past but this one is our favorite. We have the larger one and the smaller square one. They fit EVERYTHING (we have 6 bottles plus all the parts!!) They have a lot of size options though and different colors.

 3. Dapple dish soap

We have used this from day one and it works great! Cleans off breast milk but also gets the greasiness from formula off to. We use the fragrance free one but they have different scents you can try too.

4. Munchkin or OXO tot sponge

Both are great and come with a nipple cleaning attachment. The OXO tot comes with a stand which is nice if you want to keep it on your countertop.

  5. Philips Avent bottle warmer

If you are bottle feeding this is a MUST! We heard great things about this one so decided to try it and we love it. It has multiple settings for smaller and big bottles as well as a defrost setting for breastmilk. It warms up the milk super fast and it’s a good size if you want to throw it into your diaper bag for when you leave the house.

I hope this helps a new mama out! Let me know if you are currently using these or try them!

-With love, Kasia
